“ich bin Ausländer…

…und sprechen nicht gut Deustch.” WHOO! I’m getting so good (or actually, I could say gut!) at German (Deustch!) Ha! I’m so excited. I’m still spelling things wrong (obviously)…but I feel special nonetheless. My German name is Kerstin, I picked it because it was close enough to Kaytlin. I wanted Silke (pronounced Zil-kah) but it looked like it’d be pronounced Silk and I didn’t want to be named after a kind of fabric, actually…someone very intelligent (probably in business class) would start calling me Cotton or Polyester.
Nothing really interesting has happened to me, except for the cursed business class where I’m the only girl and get myself into arguments I know nothing about, and end up looking like an idiot — but I can’t help it, I’m naturally…augmentative. Ha ha. I learned a bunch of stuff about football today, like what the heck a “left sweep” is. I really wanted to know that too…?
I let Sanchita borrow my copy of Breaking Dawn and I went to the library today and checked out Pride and Prejudice on Alaura’s card because I forgot mine. I’ve read the first chapter, and it’s great. I love older classics, usually. Wuthering Heights confused me, but was good, and I absolutely loved Little Women, for example.
I watched episodes six and seven of The Secret Life of The American Teenager last night online so I can watch the new one on the TV. I also watched part of the first episode of Gossip Girl, but then went to sleep.
Nothing really else to say — except curse Internet Explorer and the fact I can’t get my sidebar to stop jumping up and down on that browser. SWITCH TO FIREFOX. It really is better, I promise! Oh, and my title means, “I am a foreigner and I do not speak German well” in loose translation.
